For most women, wearing women's clothing in public isn't a big deal. It's something we do every day without even blinking an eye. We can also wear men's clothing in public without too much trouble. When was the last time someone had trouble with a woman wearing a sweater and jeans, for example (other than in a complaining post on an online forum, and these posts don't count as reality anyway)? It doesn't make the behavior any less intolerant or incorrect, but it does explain the logical disconnect that occurs when people are terribly annoyed by things that don't really affect them (that is, when men wear women's clothing).
She doesn't say anything about my use of women's clothing, shorts and has even bought me shorts and panties to sleep on for women.
